There are over 30 million people living with HIV around the world. Antiretroviral treatment (ART) required to treat people living with HIV is difficult to administer and requires 95%+ adherence to ensure efficacy. Voxiva's HIV/AIDS solution supports people living with HIV/AIDS by delivering targeted educational content, medication and appointment reminders and helping them and their physician track their health and adherence to treatment over time. This highly personalized solution has been designed to support people that are either newly diagnosed or newly enrolled in ART treatment.

Enrollment:
Participants can self-register for the service - via web, SMS or phone - or they can be registered by their care provider. Once enrolled, they have access to their own Personal Health Account.

Health Risk Assessment:
As part of a web or phone based enrollment process, participants are asked about their current health and medical history to assess their condition and place them in the appropriate protocol. This assessment allows the system to customize the participants' management plan and personalize their experience.

Educational Content Delivery:
The service delivers a series of personalized educational messages via e-mail or text. These messages include tips on living with HIV/AIDS, information on medications and treatment protocols as well as messages for support and encouragement.

Reminders:
Based on individual preferences HealthConnect HIV/AIDS provides reminders to take action - to take a medication, attend and appointment or refill a prescription.

Patient Diary:
The service allows the participant to record data such as drug compliance and weight via text message, the phone, or the web, to help keep track of their progress. This diary provides people with a constant health companion and helps make them accountable for their progress on treatment.

Personal Health Portal:
The service includes a Personal Health Portal that lets participant view and analyze their data over time using a health dashboard. Through the portal they can also configure the service in line with their personal preferences.
