Washington 21 August 2006 - In an interview today on CNBC's Squawk Box, Chairman Paul Meyer outlined
Voxiva's solution for Avian Flu surveillance and response that is being deployed with Indonesia's
Ministry of Agriculture in partnership with Microsoft, USAID, the GSM Association and Winrock
International.
Indonesia is seen by many as the frontline of defense for the deadly H5N1 Avian Flu virus.
In the interview, Paul Meyer discussed how the company's HealthWatch application leverages
the existing mobile phone infrastructure to allow health and agriculture authorities to collect
critical real-time data from staff in the field and facilitate key information flow.
