Paul Meyer is Co-founder, Chairman and President of Voxiva. Before Voxiva, Paul co-founded IPKO, the leading mobile phone operator and Internet Service Provider in Kosovo started in the weeks after the war. Previously he was a Senior Fellow at the Markle Foundation, Chief Operating Officer of Endeavor, and worked for the International Rescue Committee developing technology tools to reunify children separated from their parents in refugee crises in West Africa and the Balkans. From 1993 to 1995, he served as one of President Clinton's White House speechwriters and worked on the 1992 Clinton Campaign.
He has a law degree from Yale, an undergraduate degree in Government from Pomona College and studied Politics at Oxford. He was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in Davos. He was named a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute and a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations. MIT's Technology Review Magazine named him a Technology Pioneer and their 2003 Humanitarian of the Year.
Justin Sims joined Voxiva in 2005 and serves as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors.
Justin is a 20 year veteran of the communications and IT industry and most recently led AT&T's Global Services business with responsibility for AT&T's entire international operations. As a company Officer and President of an integrated business unit, he managed a diverse team of over 4000 people across 48 countries.
Justin has served on the Board of Alestra, one of Mexico’s top 3 telecoms companies, and Chaired the Pacific Partners Forum, an industry body comprising the largest telecommunications businesses operating in the Asia Pacifica arena.
Marc Triaureau joined Voxiva in 2008 and serves as Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to joining Voxiva, Marc held multiple financial leadership roles at companies in the software technology and professional service sectors. These companies include Diligence, an international business intelligence consulting firm; Get Well Network, a US-based interactive patient software firm; and Cataligent, an enterprise project management ASP software spin-off of Arthur D. Little. Marc’s entry in the software sector started as a Business Analyst at NEC, where he performed market research and evaluations of possible business models for NEC’s digital watermarking software. Marc started his career in currency and derivatives trading and hedge fund management in the Global Risk Management Services group at the Bank of New York.
Marc holds a Bachelor’s in Finance from the University of Connecticut, a Master’s in Finance from Colorado State University and an MBA from INSEAD in France.
Dr. Pamela Johnson is Chief Health Officer of Voxiva, co-founder and a member of the Board of Directors. A behavioral scientist, she is recognized as a pioneer in the creation of mobile health applications for public health. She has spearheaded the design and implementation of innovative disease surveillance and other public health and safety applications in Africa, Latin America and the United States including the award-winning Alerta and TRACnet systems.
Before co-founding Voxiva, Dr. Johnson had a distinguished public service career. As deputy director of the White House Task Force on Reinventing Government, she was a driver of some of the US government’s early electronic government initiatives to a create a more results-oriented, citizen-responsive government. As Director of the Efficiency Board of the United Nations, she led efforts to streamline the UN’s operations, increase use information technology and shift 13 percent of the UN budget from administration to humanitarian and development activities.
Dr. Johnson received her B.A. from Vassar College and her Ph.D. in medical anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley.
Grant Elliott joined Voxiva in 2005 and serves as Chief Operations Officer & Chief Information Security Officer.
Prior to joining Voxiva, Grant led the Global Contracting & Billing Operations organization for AT&T where he improved financial management and introduced cost effective dispute resolution tools. Before this he was Director of Products for AT&T's global Data & IP portfolio achieving double digit revenue growth during his tenure. He has also held roles as Director of E-business and Service at Concert, a global venture between BT and AT&T, as well as various marketing, customer service and business development positions within BT. He completed his postgraduate studies in Management with distinction at Kingston Business School, London in 1995 and currently resides in Virginia with his wife and three children.
Gustavo Perez-Bonany joined Voxiva in 2001 and serves as Senior Vice President, Research & Development.
Prior to joining Voxiva, Gustavo was the Chief Technology Officer at Brain Capital where he built the technology infrastructure to provide internet services to small and medium enterprises partnering with micro-finance and telecommunication companies in Peru. He has 7 years of experience in the Peruvian financial sector with some of the largest banks in Peru, including Wiese and NBK Banks, managing and building electronic channel services over the Internet, WAP, POS and phones.
Peter Brown joined Voxiva in 2005 and serves as Senior Vice President, Global Client Services Group.
Peter has provided program management, professional services, implementation support and service delivery services for 20 years to commercial, federal, non-governmental and not-for-profit organizations. Both as a management consultant and now with Voxiva, Peter helps his clients address strategic and operational challenges in support of the achievement of business and programmatic goals while ensuring timely delivery of the client's products and services.
Before joining Voxiva, Peter held senior management positions with BearingPoint Inc., KPMG Consulting and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting LLP in the Public Services and Media and Technology practices where he focused on business and technology strategy, business process reengineering, program management and organizational change management. Some of his former clients include Arthur Andersen LLP, The World Bank Group, MCI/Worldcom, USAID, CDC, Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, AT&T Wireless, Unisys, The American Red Cross, Progress Telecom, Winstar Communications and Teligent.
Peter holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Union College, and an MBA degree from Georgetown's McDonough School of Business.
Christopher W. Yu joined Voxiva in 2009 and serves as Senior Vice President, U.S. Health Care.
Chris was formerly the Director of Business Development and Special Projects at Zix Corporation where he worked closely with health plans, PBMs, pharmacies, policy makers, researchers, and providers to drive wide-spread adoption of point-of-care electronic prescribing technology. He led customer engagements for research and analytics to determine potential changes in access, quality and cost, and collaborated with a number of partners to develop new, value-driven point-of-care decision support features and services. Chris has also provided sales and marketing leadership for other health information technology companies focusing on doctor-patient communications and consumer health education.
Chris received his Masters in Public Health from Columbia University with a concentration in health policy and management.
Suneel Kanaujia joined Voxiva in 2004 and serves as Country Operations Director, India.
Prior to joining Voxiva, Suneel worked as an electronics engineer with cross functional rich experience in managing large telecom & IT infrastructure projects, Contract Management, Business Development, Strategic Account Management and Team Management in telecom, information technology and networking domains. His background includes experience working with large Indian telcom operators in delivery of GSM, CDMA, ISP, VSAT operations in various capacities.
Olasupo Oyedepo joined Voxiva in 2006 and serves as Country Director, Nigeria.
Prior to joining Voxiva, Olasupo was the Chief Technology Officer for Leso Management Services a management solutions company and also the Northern Nigeria Manager for AITEC Africa, the continents leading provider of ICT events & conferences.
He has also provided technology related services to the Speaker of the Nigerian Parliament amongst others. In 2003 he headed the team that managed the website for the 8th All Africa Games and he was the Project Manager (Technology and Media) for the International Conference on the African Woman and Gender Development held in Abuja in April 2004. In 2005, he led the project team that designed, developed and managed the website for the 14th International conference on AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections in Africa (ICASA2005).
