Assistant Accounting Manager Global Finance
Position Summary:

The mission of the Assistant Accounting Manager is to support the firm's global accounting, budgeting, and procurement processes on a corporate level. The candidate will prepare the company's monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports while maintaining compliance with GAAP, US government contracting and auditing requirements and corporate accounting policies. Furthermore, the Assistant Accounting Manager will assist with providing on-time and accurate financial and operating performance information, including detailed financial analysis required by management and the company's business unit and department managers. This position supports the Vice President of Finance and is based in Washington, D.C. at company headquarters.


Core Responsibilities:
  • Handle general ledger accounting.
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial processing and month end close.
  • Manage and own Accounts Payable processes including but not limited to accurate data coding and entry of invoices and Expense Reports, timely payment processing, vendor relationship management and maintenance of vendor files.
  • Review and verify recording of expenditures.
  • Prepare journal entries for revenue recognition.
  • Prepare monthly bank statement reconciliation and analysis of major GL accounts.
  • Other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with an Accounting major.
  • Minimum of five years job related accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting practices a must.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) is a plus.
  • Strong General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Banking working knowledge.
  • Ability to maintain accounting records and report preparation using financial software.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Access.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Possess strong cross cultural communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience in the field of international development, public health, and/or technology, a plus.

Vice President, Worldwide Sales
Company Profile:

Voxiva, Inc. (www.voxiva.com) is a leading provider of mobile centric information solutions that combine the reach and ubiquity of the mobile phone with an internet based platform. Services are offered as a service on an ASP basis. Historically the company has focused on large scale IT projects that address the health segment with a particular skill set in the developing world and development sector.

Just over a year ago the company began an ambitious program to transform its business from one that supports large scale complex and highly customized solutions to a product based business. During this period the company developed a platform that supports data collection, data retrieval, communication and notifications through the Web, SMS, a Mobile Client, a PC Client and Interactive Voice Response. The platform also has a roles based web interface that allows data to be reviewed, analyzed and processed. A system can be configured entirely through the web interface and does not require developer resources to create a solution.

This product has a multitude of uses from ordering to registration to sales reports to content based notifications. It has now been market tested and is already being used to:
  • Collect sales reports from the field via SMS and the mobile client.
  • Allow people to sign up for targeted SMS alerts and notifications.
  • Perform self-screening of people at risk of certain medical conditions via SMS (e.g. hyper-tension).
  • Monitor drug supplies in a field based clinical trial setting via IVR and the mobile client.
  • Provide loan officers with instant access to loan balances via SMS and register new clients via the mobile client.
  • Allow pre-paid mobile phone customers to "self register" and provide an SMS based directory enquiries capability.
Position Background:

Based on accelerating interest in mobile enterprise applications, the company is now ready to accelerate commercial sales and believes that there is a considerable untapped opportunity. The company is looking for an experienced sales leader that has a proven track record at building an extensive book of business. This individual must be able to clearly demonstrate that they have:
  • Extensive experience at sales in the international market including the US (both direct and through channels).
  • Succeeded in building a multi-million dollar revenue stream.
  • Built a successful sales career selling IT products.
  • Built a sales organization in an early stage environment.
  • Experience selling into the commercial health segment (ideally).
Position Description:

Reporting to the CEO, the WW Sales VP will:
  • Develop, implement and manage the commercial sales strategy & plan.
  • Define the value propositions that apply to the target market.
  • Develop a pipeline of new sales opportunities.
  • Develop, staff and manage the worldwide sales organization starting with US resources before expanding into key markets on a worldwide basis.
  • Develop a sales compensation plan.
  • Implement CRM tools to manage sales performance and provide accurate and timely sales reporting/forecasting
  • Position is based at company headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Proven and successful sales track record selling enterprise software and/ or services. New business sales experience a must.
  • Experience in software sales, web applications, mobile based technology is preferred.
  • Experience building a successful sales organization in a start up organization.
  • Experience in the commercial health sector is preferred.
  • At least fifteen years of information technology sales experience.
  • Excellent prospecting, new client generation and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial and a strategic thinker with the imagination and foresight to conceptualize new sales.
  • An established track record of managing and growing a profitable software sales and services organization to the $100m plus revenue level.
  • Experience managing international sales.
  • Prior startup experience.
  • Should be an innovative, customer oriented thinker; able to identify and secure market niche opportunities.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent business experience required. MBA is preferred.
Compensation:

The competitive, revenue driven compensation package for this position will consist of a base salary, commission and stock options.

Web and Graphic Designer
Position Summary:

Voxiva, a leading global service provider of practical information solutions to strengthen public health and safety systems, seeks an enthusiastic and talented web and graphic designer to join a small but growing product marketing team to support the design needs of the firm globally. In this position you'll work closely with Account Management, Client Services, Product Marketing and Software Development in creating concept designs, user interface designs, web page front-ends, and all type of various artwork and layouts for both web and print. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this is an exciting opportunity ideal for the motivated candidate who is eager to learn and grow with a fast-moving company. This position is based in Noida, India.


Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support authoring and design of Corporate Website.
  • Manage and support authoring and design of Corporate Intranet.
  • Design look and feel for various web applications.
  • Design web page layouts, banners, and graphics.
  • Produce web graphics to be used in website designs and web applications.
  • Serve as a lead designer on projects of defined scope, relying upon design style guide and pre-approved design templates.

Senior Business Analyst Client Services Team
Position Summary:

As a member of the Client Services Team, the Senior Business Analyst will fill a critical role bridging system design and delivery efforts between Voxiva's Account Management and Technology Teams and its clients. The Analyst will largely provide functional support for various systems and/or applications by serving as the main liaison between business users and technical teams to identify, analyze and translate business needs into system specifications. Reporting to the Vice President of Client Services, this position requires both a focus on understanding client's needs and the skill to translate those into working configurations in line with an existing solution framework.


Specific Responsibilities Include:
  • Developing client relationships to conduct business analysis process for assigned initiatives and projects.
  • Eliciting and translating business and/or technical needs into business requirements and relevant system documentation.
  • Defining project deliverables.
  • Handling system configurations in line with system design.
  • Establishing consensus among stakeholders and/or project team members.
  • Identifying and responding to questions and issues during system implementation.
  • Managing client expectations, facilitating communications and contributing to client satisfaction during and after implementation.
To Be a Successful Candidate, You Must:
  • Be capable of understanding and internalizing client processes in order to define system configurations to support those processes.
  • Be capable of interacting and communicating with all levels of staff and project management in both the business and the technical areas with the ability to keep discussions at the appropriate level of abstraction.
  • Be capable of managing an integrated team of both clients and technical engineers throughout a full project lifecycle ranging from requirements specification through system deployment.

Key Selection Criteria:
  • A minimum of 5-7 years in a business analyst or consulting environment, preferably within roles responsible for client-facing requirements gathering, business analysis, project management and/or coordination dealing with the design and development of web-based applications solutions.
  • 5-7 years direct experience managing requirements and technical development teams and projects.
  • 3+ years experience conducting process analysis, requirements definition, use case analysis, and implementation/deployment management.
  • Experience in designing and/or supporting solutions for low-resource environments.
  • Must be able to communicate well with culturally diverse clients and internal staff.
  • Familiarity with telephony IVR applications is desirable.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish and/or French fluency is a plus.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel abroad extensively.
  • Experience in general public health, epidemiology and international development sectors is desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree or Doctorate a plus.
